Sprout Daily ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Sprout Daily handles data in the mobile application.

Our Core Privacy Promise

Your journal entries, personal reflections, photos, future letters, and persona details are stored on your device. We do not upload or sync your journal content to our servers.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Sprout Daily stores the following data locally using device/browser storage such as IndexedDB and localStorage:

• Journal entries and reflections: Your written responses and activity reflections.
• Photos: Photos you choose to attach to letters, activities, or your profile.
• Persona details: Persona name, age, life stage, voice, avatar, and related preferences.
• Future letters: Letters you schedule for yourself.
• App preferences and usage limits: Notification preferences, export counts, streaks, refresh counts, onboarding status, and similar app state.

We do not receive, read, sell, or share your journal entries, reflections, photos, future letters, or persona content.

Local Notifications

If you enable reminders, notification preferences and schedules are stored locally on your device. Sprout Daily does not send journal content, persona content, reflection text, or notification tokens to our servers for reminder delivery.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Sprout Daily uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Pro subscriptions.

RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, App Store receipt information, and an anonymous app user identifier so we can:

• Unlock Pro features.
• Restore purchases.
• Confirm subscription status.
• Manage subscription access.

RevenueCat does not receive your journal entries, photos, persona content, reflections, future letters, or notification preferences from Sprout Daily. We do not use RevenueCat data for advertising or tracking.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share purchase-related information with RevenueCat only as needed to provide subscriptions and in-app purchase functionality.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

RevenueCat provides subscription and purchase management for Sprout Daily Pro. RevenueCat may process purchase history and anonymous app user identifiers for app functionality.

App Stores

When you download Sprout Daily or make an in-app purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play, the store may process purchase, download, crash, and account information according to its own policies. Payment information is handled by the app store and is not visible to us.

GitHub Pages

If this privacy policy is hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub may process visitor IP addresses and basic access logs according to GitHub's privacy policy: https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-privacy-statement

Data Security

Most Sprout Daily content is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining backups of data you want to keep. Clearing app/browser storage or deleting the app may remove locally stored journal data.

Your Choices

You can:

• Use Sprout Daily without creating an account.
• Export your journal data from the app.
• Delete local app data from the app's data settings.
• Disable notifications in the app or device settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account.

Children's Privacy

Sprout Daily is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are made.
